Our volunteers come from all walks of life with very good people skills.
They are carefully selected and undergo a comprehensive training course.
We are good listeners, provide practical assistance and we handle all enquiries in a professional,
friendly and empathetic manner.

What we do
Our volunteers undertake a range of tasks, including
  • assisting individuals,
  • administration,
  • answering phones & providing advice,
  • promoting the value of volunteering to the broader community
  • involvement in community development projects
  • networking with community groups,
  • interviewing.
NOTE: A requirement for all interviewers - to complete a 6 week (1 day per week) accredited training course.

Finally, our volunteers must be committed to work half a day per week (9.30 - 12.30 or 12.20 - 3.30), be able to relieve other members occasionally and attend regular ongoing training sessions.
